Privacy policy

StartX6 Studio ("we") lets you schedule and publish videos to YouTube channels you own or manage. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to remove it. You accept it, together with our terms and the YouTube Terms of Service, before you can use any feature.
YouTube API Services
StartX6 Studio uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos and set thumbnails on your behalf. By using StartX6 Studio you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
StartX6 Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we collect
- Your Google sign-in: your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture.
- Each YouTube channel you connect: its channel ID, name, handle and picture, plus the access tokens Google issues so we can upload for you. Tokens are encrypted before we store them.
- What you post: the video files or links, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, privacy settings and schedule times you give us, and the resulting YouTube video IDs and links.
- API keys: we store only a one-way hash of each key, never the key itself.
- Technical logs: IP addresses and request times, kept to keep the service secure.
How we use it
Only to run the service you asked for: to sign you in, show your connected channels and post history, upload the videos you send at the time you choose, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use Google user data for advertising or to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Google and YouTube receive the videos and details you ask us to publish. Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf. We share nothing else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Video and thumbnail files: deleted within about an hour after they post, fail or are cancelled.
- Channel details read from YouTube: refreshed at least every 30 days while the channel is connected, and deleted when you disconnect it.
- Post history and account details: kept until you delete your account.
- Backups: deleted copies drop out of our backups within 14 days.
Your choices
- Disconnect a channel on the Channels page. We revoke our Google access straight away and delete its tokens.
- Revoke access from Google's side at any time on your Google Account permissions page.
- Delete your account on the Account page. This revokes every channel's access and deletes your data from our live database.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Google tokens are encrypted at rest and API keys are stored only as hashes.
Children
StartX6 Studio is not for children under 13, or under the minimum age for a Google account in your country.

Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell signed-in users before the change takes effect.
